INTI College Sabah Hosts Raya Lunch and Donation Drive with Women's Welfare Association
Kota Kinabalu, Sabah – On 30 April 2025,
INTI College Sabah hosted a meaningful Hari Raya lunch celebration with
representatives from the Persatuan Kebajikan Wanita dan Ibu-Ibu Tunggal Negeri
Sabah, reinforcing its commitment to community engagement and social
responsibility.
The event served as a platform to
strengthen ties with local charitable organizations that provide essential
support to women and single mothers in the region. In the spirit of giving,
INTI College Sabah donated food and convenience items, generously contributed
by staff and students as an expression of their shared sense of care and
community during the festive season.
Among the guests were Puan Muliana Binti
Syamsir, Chairperson of the association, and Puan Fatima@Rosni Binti Kamarudin,
the association’s Secretary. Their presence added warmth and significance to
the occasion, as both groups engaged in heartfelt conversation and cultural
exchange over lunch.
As a gracious gesture of appreciation,
the association invited INTI staff to join them for a steamboat dinner later
that evening, further strengthening the bond of mutual respect and
collaboration.
This initiative highlights INTI College Sabah’s ongoing dedication to nurturing meaningful partnerships with local communities, while encouraging a spirit of compassion, respect for differences, and community awareness among its students and staff.
